The Project

With Ghost Mode, Payroll Giovanni enters 2023 on a solo release that keeps his own artistic perspective in the foreground. The title is an effective counterpoint to his highly collaborative catalog: it suggests remaining focused without making every move public. In the KOLAK timeline, the project follows Back 2 the Ba$ics and precedes another partnership with HBK.

The project deserves its own story without assigning producers to individual songs based on a secondary, unverified discography. KOLAK keeps album-level identity and track-level production credits separate.

Listening Notes

Use this as the opening 2023 Payroll checkpoint, then move to Kid & Pay later that year. The specific production listings and their source limitations appear below.

Production & Contributors

“Feel How I Look” — production contributors: Cardo Got Wings and DUKEBEATZ ↗ (KOLAK-supplied track-level co-production credit). Retail metadata ↗ independently names Cardo; DUKEBEATZ’s contribution is attributed by KOLAK pending a separately corroborated song-credit listing. This attribution is specific to “Feel How I Look,” not automatically every track on Ghost Mode.
