The Project

Cooks & Orange Juice pairs Berner and Larry June in a shorter collaborative project. Its place in this timeline highlights a different side of June’s prolific 2020: rather than a solo album or a project built around a single producer’s name, this is a meeting of two Bay Area rappers.

That distinction is important to the KOLAK archive. June’s work with Cardo Got Wings and Harry Fraud shows how a producer partnership can shape a release; with Berner, the collaborative framing starts with two artist perspectives.
