March 29, 2025 - Los Angeles, CA

March 29, 2025 marked KOLAK’s first major platform during the brand’s early runway build. After getting its start in the Bay Area fashion scene, KOLAK stepped onto a larger Los Angeles runway at LAFW25—connecting clothing, styling, models, music, and presentation on a bigger stage than the brand had taken on before.

The day captured a brand in transition: from early Bay Area runway experiments to a larger creative setting where KOLAK could continue shaping how its world looks in motion. The photographs from LAFW25 document that point in the timeline and the people helping carry the brand forward.

Sponsors & Venue

The Los Angeles Fashion Show took place inside the former Lucky Brand building in Los Angeles, giving the event an industrial backdrop that matched the mix of runway, media, and creative culture happening throughout the day.

The red-carpet sponsor wall reflected that wider ecosystem. Among the names visible around the presentation were SAS Movie Studios and Jason Perez, helping frame the event’s fashion-meets-media atmosphere before guests moved deeper into the runway program.

From the Bay Area to Los Angeles

KOLAK’s runway story started in the Bay Area, with early stages built through the local scene before expanding outward. LAFW25 represented the first major platform in that progression: a move from the Bay Area into a Los Angeles runway environment, where KOLAK could present the brand on a larger stage and continue developing a more complete language around the clothes, the models, and the world surrounding them.

That progression became especially meaningful two days later, on March 31, when Nina Heart sent KOLAK a throwback from the August 14, 2022 Zanzi Oakland show, reconnecting the newest chapter to one of the brand’s earliest runway moments.
