KOLAK SS22 Live Runway Show in Oakland: From June 28 to August 14

OAKLAND, CA — KOLAK’s Spring/Summer 2022 runway show has a story behind its date. The Black New World Party was originally advertised for June 28, 2022, with KOLAK on the fashion show lineup. The event was pushed to August 14, 2022, when the runway presentation took place at Zanzi Oakland.

Now the SS22 presentation lives on in KOLAK’s live runway video. The footage preserves a moment when the brand brought its streetwear perspective from Silicon Valley into an Oakland fashion and music gathering.

From the original date to the runway

The original event announcement and flyer listed Tuesday, June 28. That was the planned date, not the date of the show captured here. The event ultimately moved to Sunday, August 14. This video documents KOLAK’s SS22 runway presentation at Zanzi Oakland after the change.
