Oakland Style returns October 7–11, 2026, bringing five days of fashion, sneakers, art, music, cuisine, and community programming across The Town. Now in its fourth annual edition, the Visit Oakland-led celebration connects local designers and artists with the neighborhoods that give Oakland its creative identity.
THE TOWN BECOMES THE RUNWAY
The week opens Wednesday, October 7 with Music + Mixology at The Rotunda, followed by Inspired on the Runway on Thursday, October 8 at The Atrium at Uptown Station. The collaborative fashion showcase brings together Oakland School for the Arts, Kingmakers, Creative Growth, Oakland Style Lab, and the White Elephant Sale. The focus is original, remixed, and Oakland-inspired design.
The programming extends past a conventional fashion calendar. October 10–11 brings The Art of Sneakers, Vol. 3, a two-day exploration of sneaker culture, alongside gallery experiences, live performances, and community events. On October 10, The Town’s Threads: A Living Runway activates Liberation Park in East Oakland; a halftime runway tied to an Oakland Roots home game at the Coliseum showcases upcycled jerseys and apparel reimagined by design students.
