RECOMMENDED CARE

Machine wash inside out, in cold water, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Wash with similar colors and hang dry naturally.

For the first wash, launder separately to reduce potential color transfer.

Avoid bleach, harsh detergents, soaking, rubbing, wringing, or twisting. Do not leave the garment wet and bundled. Keep away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Garments with high cotton content may shrink when exposed to heat. Cold washing and hang drying help maintain the garment’s shape, color, print, and finish.


PREMIUM CARE

For a crisper, refined appearance, professional dry cleaning is recommended when permitted by the garment’s Care Code.

Professional care helps preserve delicate fibers, specialty coatings, dyes, graphic applications, and structural elements, while minimizing agitation and heat.


HANDLING & STORAGE

  • Air out garments after wear.

  • Store in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated environment.

  • Use a breathable garment bag for specialty pieces.

  • Avoid prolonged sunlight and abrasive surfaces.

  • Handle with clean, dry hands to prevent oil transfer.

  • Remove detachable accessories before cleaning.

  • Address stains, loose stitching, or damage before continued wear.


CARE CODE

Always refer to the garment’s Care Code for specific instructions. Certain materials, prints, embellishments, coatings, and specialty finishes may require alternative care.

 

Improper washing, drying, pressing, or handling may cause shrinkage, fading, distortion, print deterioration, or permanent damage. Issues resulting from care outside recommended guidelines are not considered manufacturing defects.

Adhere strictly to the Care Code on the internal label. If water-washing is instructed, do not soak, rub, or twist the garment. Avoid folding while wet. Dry only in diffuselight— never in direct sunlight or near thermal emitters. For first-time washes, we advise solo laundering to prevent color migration. Failure to follow these protocol points may result in irreversible damage. Alterations due to mishandling release KOLAK from liability.
