FOUNDER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR
LIMOUGES ISOM
BRAND DESIGNER
Limouges Isom's background spans sound, broadcasting, design, and technology—disciplines that became part of KOLAK's creative foundation.
His approach treats fashion as one medium inside a larger system of image, sound, interface, and culture.
01 — BACKGROUND
A Bay Area native, Isom studied Sound Design and Music Production at Diablo Valley College and Broadcasting at San Francisco State University, along with coursework in public relations and design.
That mixed background created an early interest in how communication, sound, technology, and visual design can work together.
02 — SOUND + TECHNOLOGY
Music and sound became an important part of Isom's creative process before fashion fully developed as the main medium.
The same ideas—rhythm, layering, atmosphere, repetition, and structure—later carried into KOLAK's graphics, garments, environments, and digital experiences.
03 — SILICON VALLEY
Living and working in Silicon Valley reinforced a design mindset based on experimentation, systems, and future-facing culture.
That environment helped shape KOLAK into a platform where fashion could interact naturally with technology, social media, digital interfaces, and immersive ideas.
04 — DESIGN APPROACH
Isom's work combines practicality with visual experimentation, using shape, pattern, digital effects, and cultural references to build KOLAK's evolving identity.
The aim is not to separate high fashion from everyday culture, but to explore what happens when the two are designed to move together.
