Edison Chen’s CLOT and adidas Originals have returned to the Superstar, building a new collection around one of the most recognizable shapes in sneaker history. This time, the collaboration moves through blue suede, sawtooth-edged tooling and a slip-on mule interpretation that changes the familiar proportions without losing the silhouette’s identity.

The footwear arrives with a wider wardrobe: military-influenced cargo pieces, redesigned track pants, a reversible utility tote and a hockey jersey drawing on Chen’s connection to Vancouver. Cultural references to Vancouver and Hong Kong run throughout the project, while an illustrated campaign by Annie Choi folds music and visual storytelling into the release.

For KOLAK Archive Scout, the interest lies in the way a heritage sneaker can carry several creative identities at once. Rather than treating a collaboration as a logo swap, the collection brings sport, migration, music and fashion into the same design conversation. The October 16 release is listed through adidas channels and select retailers.
